Additionally, SSD drives have a feature called TRIM, which is essentially integrated into the drives by the manufacturers to maintain the health of the data cells for as long as possible. When TRIM receives a simple file deletion command, it removes the file from the drive’s translator, making its recovery impossible as the address is lost. We have found a solution to this problem and can now recover data even from formatted drives!
